Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access, and other critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify entry, document visitor activity, and report unusual conditions.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs; communicate with supervision and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter, with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry, document visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions to appropriate site personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
