Job summary

Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer Level II for the Duluth, MN area. The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, patrolling diverse sites, and enforcing client regulations to maintain a safe environment.

The position requires strong customer service, leadership, and vigilance, with a night-shift schedule (Thu-Sun, 11 PM–7 AM). Comprehensive benefits and training are included. You will work with technology devices during shifts and respond to emergencies professionally.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Prior security, military, or corrections experience required.
• NLDW, CPR, and safe driving certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Primary Location: Duluth, MN

Wage: $23.00/HR

Schedule: Thurs - Sun: 11PM - 7AM

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
