Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time position in Grand Rapids, MN. You will perform patrols, monitor premises, and engage with staff and guests, ensuring safety and adherence to post orders.

Strong customer service, teamwork, and calm threat response are essential. The role requires a GED or high school diploma and reliable independence on shift, including weekend coverage and varied hours.

• Security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Grand Rapids, MN

Wage: $18.35/HR

Schedule: Sat: 0600 - 1900, Tues - Wed: 0700 - 1400, & Thurs: 1800 - 0700

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
