Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Key Control in Jeffersonville, IN. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers at a logistics location.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and maintain access records.
• Deter unauthorized access by observing inbound/outbound traffic and screening deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, trailer yards, loading areas, and perimeter.

As a Security Officer Key Control in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and communicate clearly while delivering exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing inbound and outbound traffic, screening deliveries as directed by site procedures, and reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including access concerns, vehicle congestion, and other security-related matters.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
