Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required where allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer - Internal Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and alarm response activities while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
