Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast in Southwest Florida is seeking a Security Officer II to safeguard guests, team members and property across owned and operated Sunseeker properties.

You'll follow the Security and Surveillance Department policies, de‑escalate disputes, coordinate with law enforcement, patrol grounds, file timely reports, and help maintain safety and confidentiality in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Florida state class D Security License preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and patrol large areas.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow directives of the Security and Surveillance Department’s chain of command.
• Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary.
• De-escalate disagreements between individuals and opposing parties.
• Properly maintain crowd control during high-traffic times.
• Escort guests, visitors, vendors, and team members when necessary.
• Patrol Sunseeker Resort grounds/buildings (interior, exterior, parking lots, structures).
• Sit or stand post when scheduled until relieved.
• Ensure all doors and gates are secured per policies.
• Respond to incidents and dispatch calls for support.
• Prepare reports and security logs timely and accurately.
• Monitor foot and vehicular traffic on properties.
• Maintain confidentiality of operating information.
• Fulfill surveillance/dispatcher duties when assigned.
