Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years college in safety, security or hospitality is preferred.
• 2 years Security or Police experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred; instructor rating is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Spend majority of shifts on patrol, walking, stairs, and perimeter checks to identify security risks.
• Coordinate response to emergencies (fire, safety hazards) in a calm, decisive manner.
• Maintain order, assist guests with door locks and safety concerns.
• Observe for suspicious activity and report to supervisor via radio.
• Conduct walkthroughs and observe life safety systems and alarms.
