Summary

Provides security/safety coverage through enforcement of established policies and procedures, and patrol and inspection functions to protect the NH Veterans Home (NHVH) against fire, theft, safety hazards and vandalism. Develops and provides training and oversight to Security Officer I positions on the security software system and cameras. Assists with the development and presentation of safety programs for residents and staff at the NH Veterans Home.

• YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
• License/Certification: Valid Driver's License
• Must pass a comprehensive background check
• As a condition of and prior to hire, the applicant must have verified their current New Hampshire driving record supplied by the Dept. of Safety, Division of Motor Vehicles, indicating no major traffic violations.
