Responsibilities

• Routinely patrols NH Veterans Home, grounds, and parking lots to prevent vandalism, thefts, and hazards.
• Operates security system software and manages employee key cards; tracks changes and issues keys for restricted doors.
• Develops and delivers training for Security Officer I on security software and surveillance.
• Responds to alarms (burglary, fire, code orange) and documents incidents in logs and reports.
• Conducts drills, inspects equipment, and coordinates with supervisor to maintain safety.
