Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at access-control procedures and monitor entry points at a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials, screen visitors, and direct drivers, vendors, and delivery personnel according to site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle-entry records and issue access credentials.
• Respond calmly to incidents and inform site contacts or leadership as needed.
• Conduct routine patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.

As a Security Officer Identity Validation in Wyoming, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with maintaining an orderly environment. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents through a professional, visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, screening visitors, and directing drivers, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle-entry records; issue and recover access credentials as authorized.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
