Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors and drivers at a logistics location by following site access procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials and issue visitor passes as directed.
• Control access for employees, contractors, vendors and vehicles per site procedures and escalate discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control access for employees, contractors, vendors, and vehicles in accordance with established site procedures, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
