Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, NV is hiring a Tier One Security Officer to maintain public order, enforce safety rules, and protect Guests, Team Members, property and assets. You will escort cash transactions and assist with security operations while upholding the high standards of service and professionalism the Atlantis brand represents.

The role requires Nevada gaming and alcohol awareness credentials, strong communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Qualifications

• State of Nevada Gaming Permit required.
• State of Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card required.
• CPR, AED, & First Aid certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to interface effectively with staff, management, Guests and local authorities.
• Ability to work under extreme pressure.
• Sound and mature judgment; decisive and timely decisions.
• Nevada Driver’s License preferred.
• Adherence to grooming standards; no visible tattoos or piercings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain public order and enforce safety rules; protect Guests, Team Members, property and assets.
• Stay alert for undesirables; monitor for under-21s and report unusual occurrences to management.
• Escort for cash transactions; assist with pit fills and credits as needed.
• Learn procedures for all warning devices.
• Participate in procedures affecting casino-related departments.
• Act as Atlantis ambassador; provide guest information and public relations.
