Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Vehicle Patrol Driverin Poway, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring access points, screening visitors, communicating clearly, and responding to security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.


• Screen patients, visitors, vendors, and contractors in accordance with facility access requirements; verify identification, issue visitor credentials, and provide directions as needed.


• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate facility personnel and emergency responders.


• Monitor entry points and assist with maintaining orderly access to the facility, helping to deter unauthorized entry and prohibited items.


• Document screening activity, incidents, and unusual observations accurately, following site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
