As a Security Officer Hospital Response Patrol in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to facility needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and access-control procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and appropriate site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
