Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Response in Grove City, PA to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and maintain a welcoming environment, while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires the ability to perform unarmed patrols, meet hospital vaccine requirements, and complete reports. A high school diploma, background check, and potential driver’s license may be needed; shifts

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Response in Grove City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
