Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Hospital in Wexford, PA to protect patients, staff and visitors within a healthcare setting. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to emergencies, and document activities with care and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond professionally to hospital-related situations. Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork will help you support staff, patients, and visitors with care and integrity. CPR/First Aid experience is preferred.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
