Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Miami, FL. You will provide patient and visitor security, enforce site policies, and respond to medical emergencies and incidents with calm professionalism, while maintaining a visible, reassuring presence.

You will work fixed shifts on a designated site with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, increasing earning potential and gaining hands-on experience across hospital

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Minimum 2 years in healthcare or medical-related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly while notifying proper personnel.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and directions.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents and activities per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Miami, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and compliance with facility access procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security‑related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Meet vaccination requirements for hospital assignments.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
