Responsibilities

As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol - Taser Carry in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thursday to Saturday, 1900 - 0700

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor access procedures in accordance with facility policies.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
