Allied Universal in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to perform hospital mobile patrol duties at a healthcare facility. You will patrol, deter incidents, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with a professional, courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities include unarmed patrols, access control, incident reporting, and responding to medical emergencies following established protocols. A valid driver’s license is required and vaccine compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to facility access procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and interactions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue07:30 PM - 03:30 AMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals as needed.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
