You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond professionally to security-related concerns, and assist with access control, including sensitive areas. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving to support an orderly healthcare environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and response activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Have at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
