Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• At least 2 years in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Job Schedule

• Fri: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access concerns, visitor issues, and medical facility emergencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance to support a professional healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
