Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for the hospital overnight shift in Mount Juliet, TN. You will monitor and patrol the healthcare location, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Willing to work in and/or near a hospital morgue.
• Background investigation required; drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and interior zones to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management per healthcare facility policies.
• Document incidents and daily activities and communicate with site leadership and emergency responders.

You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and designated interior areas to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with healthcare facility policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in and/or near a hospital morgue.
• At least six months of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Must be willing and able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
