Pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Responsibilities include patient and staff protection, incident response, regular patrols, and access control within a healthcare location.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, background checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and resolve issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving for healthcare operations.
• Document incidents and communicate information to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Part Time Clinic in Chattanooga, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, staff, and medical facility operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter while reporting unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving to support an orderly environment for healthcare operations.
• Document incidents, observations, and response activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
