Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a Hospital Emergency Patrol in Atlanta, GA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and communications work areas, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and document observations and reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment at a technology-focused location.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

• Wed: 09:45 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thu: 09:45 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and communications work areas, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and completing required incident reports.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment at a technology-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
