Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on unarmed exterior patrols, customer service, and incident response to maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors.

You will work Friday and Saturday shifts, with a pay rate of $21.00 per hour, leveraging the company’s shift-claim platform and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications facilities, including interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; observe and report unusual conditions or violations to site contacts.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications facilities, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff information in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
