Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Springfield, IL. This full-time, on-site role pays $23.00 per hour. You will monitor facilities, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while driving between sites.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and involves unarmed patrols in healthcare settings, shift schedule includes early mornings. CPR preferred; background check and drug screen required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by the employer.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or guests while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unauthorized access or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and daily activities.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
