Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience.

• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help create a positive experience for tenants and guests, respond to inquiries, and support a secure environment through attentive service. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and serve as a professional point of contact for visitors, vendors, and employees entering the commercial office location.
• Monitor access to the building, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes as authorized, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor front desk communications, receive and direct calls, and report suspicious activity or security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
