Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for our Elko, NV location. You will patrol assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare site.

Position is full-time with a daytime schedule. The role requires guarding credentials and adherence to safety procedures, with training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a guard card or license is preferred.
• A background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel or responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity following site procedures and maintain a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Response in Elko, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
