Job summary

Allied Universal in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Guest Services to greet tenants and visitors, monitor access, and support security operations at a commercial real estate site. You will maintain a welcoming front desk presence and uphold site policies while responding to inquiries with professionalism.

Responsibilities include managing visitor logs, verifying access, patrolling lobby areas, and coordinating with Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local regulations.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Greet tenants, visitors and employees and verify access per site requirements.
• Issue visitor credentials and direct guests at the front desk.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms and cameras; report concerns to leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalations following procedures.
• Maintain visitor logs and incident reports and share information with site contacts.

As a Front Desk Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming presence for tenants, visitors, and vendors while supporting security-related operations. You will manage access control, monitor alarm panels, respond to inquiries, and communicate professionally to help maintain an orderly environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and communications systems; report unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, incident reports, and other required documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
