Job summary

The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, part of the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio in Riverside, California, is seeking a Security Officer to protect guests and staff. This role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and guest-focused service at a historic landmark property.

You will support other departments, uphold security policies, and contribute to a safe, welcoming atmosphere across this 238-room hotel with extensive meeting space and a rich heritage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospitality/purchasing experience preferred.
• At least 1 year customer service experience preferred.
• 2 years Security or Police (military or civilian) experience, preferably with hotel exposure.
• 2 years of college in a safety, security or hospitality-related discipline.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• First Aid/CPR certification, instructor rating preferred.
• High quality written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the safety policies and procedures of the property and Benchmark, while maintaining professionalism and teamwork.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for guests and associates.
• Reduce the opportunity for crimes using preventive patrol and high visibility of security.
• Promote and preserve the peace on premises to assure a comfortable environment for guests and employees.
• Assist in developing and presenting security-related programs.
