Job summary

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. in Maryland seeks a Security Officer for ParkX Management to ensure the facility is safe, clean, and welcoming for residents, tenants, and guests. You will patrol, control access for guests and vendors, enforce rules, and report safety concerns.

The role requires high school diploma, Virginia security certification, and at least 1 year in customer service; flexibility for after-hours; valid driver’s license; strong communication and integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be certified security officer by VA.
• Minimum 1 year in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver’s license without major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property is being damaged.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around building.
• Issue Banning notices to rule violators.
• Maintain the appearance of the two plaza kiosks.
• Enforce the 'no dogs on the plaza' policy.
• Close loading dock doors as needed.
• Assist Marketing before, during, and after events at specified locations.
