Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Emergency Response in Minooka, IL to safeguard clients at logistics facilities. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to emergencies while delivering strong customer service and enforcing site policies.

This full-time role requires 18+ (21+ for armed), a high school diploma, background checks, drug screening, and possible licensing. Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shifts with benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required; licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Observe inbound/outbound truck traffic and report irregularities to site leadership.

As a Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support access control, report security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound truck traffic and report irregular conditions, damaged property, or policy concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
