GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Officer – Grocery Store in Monterey, CA. You will patrol retail floors, verify identities, and respond to incidents to protect people and property.

We offer a full-time 40-hour schedule (Wednesday–Sunday, 9:00am–6:00pm), a competitive $20/hour wage with DailyPay, comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits, a 401(k) with employer matching, disability and life insurance, and uniform provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• State security license required with BSIS 32-hour training.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED documentation required.
• First aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check alarms and cameras for proper function.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Qualifications Of a Security Officer - Grocery Store

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
