Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to monitor and protect people and property across diverse environments, including retail, airports, and detention centers. The role emphasizes situational awareness, rapid response, and collaboration with authorities.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32hr BSIS trainings are required or can be obtained during hiring.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Officer - Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Site Location: South San Francisco, CA
• Set schedule(s):
  • Monday - Thursday
    • 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
  • Monday - Tuesday, Thursday - Saturday
    • 12 AM to 8:00 AM

Qualifications Of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
• You have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and an additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
