Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Gate Patrol in Hastings, NE for full-time, unarmed patrol duties at a technology-focused location. You will provide excellent customer service, deter incidents, monitor access points, and document shifts and incidents.

Minimum Requirements include being at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles, a high school diploma or equivalent, background check, drug screen, and license as applicable.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service while following site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Verify credentials at access points and report concerns.
• Complete daily activity reports as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as assigned, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

As a Security Officer Gate Patrol in Hastings, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Minimum Requirements:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
