Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is hiring for Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers in Minnesota. The job offers day-to-day loss prevention duties, checking products, and ensuring proper handling of customers and materials in a lumber yard setting.

Training will be provided and shifts run Tue–Fri in early morning hours, with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. Ideal candidates are 18+, comfortable with security equipment, and able to walk long distances on concrete while maintaining high

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiarity with security equipment.

• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Loss prevention: check orders and count purchased product.
• Operate hand-held computers; understand basic computer use.
• Knowledge of building industry and construction products.
• Active walking on concrete; busy periods.
• Communicate with the public effectively.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
• Promptly report facility issues and dangerous conditions.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.

Schedule & Pay Tuesday - Friday, 5:45am - 1:30pm / 2pm $19.00/hr

Per Mar Security Services is seeking Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers to join our expanding team!

Responsibilities

More of a loss prevention job than a security job. We check vehicles in and give directions as to where their product is in the lumber yard. When they come to exit, we check to make sure that the product that they purchased is in fact the product that they have in their vehicle or trailer.

• Loss Prevention | Checking orders and counting purchased product
• Computers | Hand held computers used, must have good understanding of computers
• Product Knowledge | Generally, good knowledge of the building industry and construction is required.
• Walking | Can be very busy in the summer months, a lot of walking required on Concrete is required.
• Communication | A lot of interaction with the public, must be able to communicate well
