Typical shifts include day/evening hours with hourly pay at $21.50. The role emphasizes checking products, directing customers, and maintaining security, with opportunities for full-time and part-time schedules and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Loss Prevention: Checking orders and counting purchased product.
• Computers: Handheld computers used; must have a good understanding of computers.
• Product Knowledge: Generally, good knowledge of the building industry and construction is required.
• Walking: Busy in summer; a lot of walking on concrete.
• Communication: Interact with the public; must communicate well.

Responsibilities

More of a loss prevention job than a security job. We check vehicles in and give directions as to where their product is in the lumber yard. When they come to exit, we check to make sure that the product that they purchased is in fact the product that they have in their vehicle or trailer.

• Walking | Can be very busy in the summer months, a lot of walking required on Concrete is required.

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
  • Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
  • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
  • Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Report any facility issues
  • Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
