Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Front Desk Security Officer to support a corporate location. You will serve as a welcoming, professional presence, manage access control, verify badges, and assist visitors while reflecting our values of reliability and care.

As a full-time position with a driving requirement, you will work a Monday-Friday schedule and must have a valid driver’s license. CPR is preferred, and prior badge experience helps.

As a Security Officer Full Time - Westlake Park Blvd in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence at a corporate location, supporting access control, visitor management, badge procedures, and clear communication. You will help maintain a secure environment through attentive monitoring and exceptional customer service while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and caring values. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Monitor access at the front desk, greet visitors, verify credentials, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide general information, and communicate security‑related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Observe activity in the reception area and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and incidents according to site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
