Qualifications

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting irregularities, access-control issues, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology environment.

Minimum Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
