Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Guard for an Asset Protection role in Theodore, Alabama. You will patrol, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors at a technology-focused site.

The position offers a flexible part-time schedule and a chance to join a leading security team with opportunities for growth and additional shifts through our Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology location.

Connaissances

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
