Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Screening in Lacey, WA to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You will monitor entry points, verify badges, maintain logs, and provide courteous customer service while following site procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma, and comfort using a computer or tablet. CPR is a plus; background checks and drug screening are part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points for employees, contractors, vendors, and vehicles; verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and communicate entry requirements.
• Observe loading dock, gate, and perimeter activity; report unauthorized access attempts and security concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter; document observations and maintain records.

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Screening in Lacey, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, and documenting security-related activities. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use technology to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points for employees, contractors, vendors, and incoming and outgoing vehicles; verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and communicate entry requirements.
• Observe loading dock, gate, and perimeter activity; report unauthorized access attempts, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter, documenting observations and maintaining accurate security-related records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
