As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a controlled environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor access materials, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift handoff communications, and support compliance with applicable site protocols for controlled areas and restricted materials.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
