Allied Universal in Spanaway, WA is hiring a Part Time Security Officer (Visitor Check In). This role focuses on access control, visitor management, and professional customer service at a manufacturing/industrial location. The schedule is set part time with shifts including days; you will help deter security incidents and maintain a welcoming environment.

Pay rate is $23.40 per hour. Minimum requirements include a HS diploma, background check, and ability to obtain any required state licensing;

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and issue or collect access badges per site procedures.
• Control access to restricted areas, shipping and receiving zones, and other designated locations; report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
