Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) for a full-time role in Kenosha, WI. The officer will patrol a logistics location, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents.

Position type: Full Time. Pay rate: $19.00 per hour. Minimum 1 year of security or related experience required. Shift: Monday to Sunday afternoons from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security-related experience required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of warehouse areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries per site rules.
• Document observations and report incidents promptly to site leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time in Kenosha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a logistics location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist with badge-related activities, document observations using computer or tablet systems, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.


• Report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.


• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.


• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
