Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Suwanee, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and support to residents and visitors while representing Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, reliability, innovation, and care.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site management, residents, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
