Job summary

Allied Universal in Westerville, OH is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) full-time to safeguard clients across financial institutions and other sites. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver professional customer service while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 11:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns in accordance with site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
