Allied Universal in Burkville, AL is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed roving patrol at a chemical/petrochemical site. You will monitor, deter incidents, and deliver customer service while upholding site policies and safety.

Qualifications

• Background investigation as per laws.
• Criminal histories considered per applicable laws.

• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report concerns to site personnel and leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and promptly per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Roving Patrol in Burkville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report security-related concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
