Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH. You will protect a high-tech data center, conduct patrols, manage access, and respond to incidents with professionalism while maintaining a visible security presence. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $21.79 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime shifts from 2:00 PM onward across multiple days. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and meet all minimum requirements including background

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials according to site policies; assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through reporting channels.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately using site-required reporting tools.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will communicate clearly, support access and incident-response activities, and contribute to Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
