Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Property Inspection Patrol in Tampa, FL. You will monitor financial institutions and surrounding areas, perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while safeguarding people and property.

This role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity, reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
