As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. You will conduct routine foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports and maintain required activity logs related to patrols, incidents, and daily security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
